On July 5, InterBusinessLab company organised a seminar for industrial enterprises of the Fergana Valley regions within the framework of the develoPPP.de programme supported by GIZ.
The develoPPP programme, launched in 1999 by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is aimed at stimulating the activities of private companies whose business goals coincide with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Companies that are successfully selected will be able to receive up to 50 per cent co-financing from the German government for projects with budgets ranging from 200,000 to 2 million euros. The main areas of the programme include the development of green projects, fair economic transition, poverty alleviation and support for women.
The seminar participants received up-to-date information on the grant co-financing opportunities offered by the programme, as well as recommendations on how to implement innovative solutions in industry. Key criteria for participation were discussed, and individual advice was given on areas of activity relevant to the region. After the seminar, representatives of industrial companies had the opportunity to receive additional private consultations to discuss their projects and plans in more detail.
