InterBusinessLab advisory seminar: Experience and benefits of the DeveloPPP.de program

Today, 4 October 2023, a series of workshops organised by develoPPPP in cooperation with the GIZ project ‘Private Sector Development and Economic Policy Advice for Green Industrialisation in Uzbekistan’ concluded at U-Enter. The event brought together representatives of industrial companies seeking grant co-financing for the implementation of socially-oriented projects.

The develoPPP programme, initiated in 1999 by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), supports companies whose goals are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Successfully selected projects can receive up to 50 per cent co-financing from the German government.

Representatives of companies that have already successfully implemented such projects spoke at the seminars. For example, the German company Evonik and the Kazakh company Inkar-1 shared their experience in creating a dual training system in mechanical engineering, which provided training for qualified specialists and created new jobs.
